The Hit-Air Benelux team offers you its expertise service to ensure that your Hit-Air airbag vest is fully functional or, if not, to identify potential anomalies.
Your Hit-Air airbag vest will be the subject of an in-depth diagnosis where we will carry out various tests to check the condition of all its components:
– The internal membrane by testing your equipment under release conditions (checking pressure resistance, maximum deployment volume, inflation time and air evacuation time via the decompression valve);
– The keybox, checking that there is no trace of corrosion/rust which could interfere with the correct triggering of the airbag, that the firing pin is not twisted, that rearmament is easy, etc.;
– The general condition of the seams, press studs, etc.
Count about ten days for this type of service.
Your Hit-Air airbag vest will be returned to you with a certificate attesting to its proper functioning.
On the other hand, if it turns out that your Hit-Air airbag vest has a problem with the seams/fabric or membrane, it will have to go to our Technical Department for repairs (in this case, we will contact you to give you the estimate costs for necessary repairs).
When to send your Hit-Air airbag vest for expertise to us?
• After a big fall or if you fall regularly (+ 10 times / year);
• If the Hit-Air airbag vest has not been triggered for a certain period of time;
• If the Hit-Air airbag vest deflates too quickly after triggering;
• If your Hit-Air airbag vest has been subjected to unusual conditions (humidity, heat, etc.)?;
• If you want to resell it used, it is always more reassuring for the buyer to know that the Hit-Air airbag vest has been checked by Hit-Air and certified as fully functional;
• If you have just purchased a second-hand Hit-Air airbag vest from a private seller.
